The 17-year-old Eagle Rare is released annually as part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. The bourbon was distilled from a sour mash of Kentucky corn, Minnesota rye, and North Dakota malted barley in 2002. It then spent more than 18 years in new, #4 char white oak casks in Warehouse P. The whiskey was bottled in 2020 at 101 proof in honor of the original Eagle Rare brand that was launched in 1974.
